A promising show for children

The big shop for lifestyle products is back, and the excitement continues. The Hindu-Eenadu Lifestyle Show-2009, which is coming to a close on Monday, not only promises lifestyle products, but also education and entertainment to little cuties.

The stalls at PWD grounds are teeming with shoppers, who are looking for accessories for their broods, and the search would not go waste as every need of the children are addressed at the show. The little angles could jump onto a bean bag or relax on a baby sofa watching an educational CD or DVD. One could deck up their children’s room with wall decorators exhibited by Bangalore-based SLV creations or buy a bunk bed to save space in their little home.

One-stop destination

Computer and educational DVDs and CDs have emerged as a top source of information and in expanding one’s horizons. If one is looking for a one-stop destination to get a mix of educational and entertainment CDs and DVDs, then the ongoing show is the right place. From toddler’s rhymes to educational CDs on a variety of subjects and to interactive CDs on software, the exhibition has everything covered under its roof.

A wide range of CDs on rhymes, stories and so on for pre-school and kindergarten children are available at “Buzzers” stall, while “Magic Books” stall offers reusable cursive writing books. And, there is “Scholars Hub” presenting newer varieties like sentence makers, interactive grammar and books on parental guidance.

“Books like ‘Handling behaviour in your children’ and ‘Emotional intelligence’ are some of the books that are very useful for parents,” says Manish Sachdev of “Scholars Hub”.

Another attraction at the show for parents is the stall of Grolier International Pvt. Ltd.

“We have well-researched educational aids for the children and their development. Children love to learn English language along with their favourite Disney characters.

And, we assure it through our Disney Magic English,” says Arvind Singh, field manager of Grolier.

Not just this. The furniture, beauty care like hair accessories, designer foot ware, clothes and so on are attracting everyone’s attention. Tents, canopy and foldable chairs for the children are on display at “Gazebol”. And, not to miss the windmill toys, magic stickers, designer pencils, which are some of the sure attractions for the children.
