TIRUCHI

A Singapore-bound Scoot Airlines could not take off from here due to technical snag in the early hours on Sunday.

The flight with 157 passengers on board had moved out from the bay when the pilot detected some technical snag due to which he brought the aircraft to bay number 4.

The ground engineers checked the flight and it was declared Aircraft on Ground indicating that there was a problem to prevent it from flying. All the passengers were offloaded and accommodated in a hotel, airport sources said.
