Seeman appears before Tiruchi court

Having obtained anticipatory bail from the Madras High Court in connection with a case registered against him by the Tiruchi city police, Naam Tamizhar Katchi leader Seeman appeared before a judicial magistrate court here on Friday to produce sureties.

The Edamalaipatti Pudur police here had booked a case against Seeman and 37 others on the charge of speaking in support of the LTTE during the party’s State conference held here last month.

Seeman along with 37 others appeared before Judicial Magistrate-II court and produced two sureties each as directed by the High Court. The court had released them on advance bail on the condition that they should appear before the investigation officer at Edamalaipatti Pudur on June 20, 21, 27 and 28.
