Rs.40,000 realised through ticket checking drive

The officials of Tiruchi Railway Division organised a special ticket checking drive at Tiruchi Junction on Thursday .

Led by K.Madhu, Assistant Commercial Manager, about 25 ticket checking staff and 16 Railway Security Force personnel checked the passengers of Mannargudi-Tiruchi Passenger, Mayiladuthurai-Tiruchi Passenger, Tiruchi-Thanjavur Passenger, Tiruchi-Karaikal Passenger, and Coimbatore-Mayiladuthurai Jan Shatabdi Express.

A total of 132 cases were booked against those travelling without tickets and un-booked luggage and an amount of Rs.41,080/- was realised from them.
