Ration shop to be opened at Anjugam Nagar

A part-time ration shop would be opened at Anjugam Nagar near Thiruvellarai in Manachanallur taluk, Collector K.S.Palanisamy said.

Speaking at a mass contact programme, he said ration card holders of South Salaipatti, Kattaiyampallam, Kunnakulam, Manalipallam and Uzhavankottam had to travel three km to draw their quota of ration commodities from the Thiruvellarai Thai ration shop and made a representation seeking a part-time ration shop at Anjugam Nagar.

The ration shop would function on Wednesdays and Saturdays, he said.
