Blood donation camps were organised by Tiruchi City Police and Tiruchi Rural Police here on Friday in which several police personnel donated blood.
Inspector General of Police, Central Zone, V. Varadharaju, inaugurated the camp that was organised by the Tiruchi Rural Police at the District Armed Reserve ground premises.
As many as 132 police personnel and Recruit Police Constables donated blood. The camp organised by the Tiruchi City Police at K.K. Nagar was inaugurated by Commissioner of Police A. Amalraj. Thirty eight police personnel and members of Home Guards donated blood, a police press release said.
