No water supply today

There will be no drinking water supply in the following areas of the city on Tuesday owing to a power shutdown announced by Tangedco to carry out maintenance work at the Kambarasampettai Sub-Station: Marakkadai, Viragupettai, Rockfort, Chinthamani, Thillai Nagar, Anna Nagar, Puthur, Khajapettai, Cantonment, Junction, Uyyakondan Thirumalai, South Ramalinga Nagar, Alpha Nagar, Fathima Nagar, Karumandapam, Khajamalai Colony, Ramji Nagar, Pirattiyur, Edamalaipattipudur, Viswas Nagar, Jaya Nagar, Pirattiyur Cauvery Nagar. Regular supply would be resumed on Wednesday, Corporation Commission M.Vijayalakshmi said in a press release.

Power shutdown

There will be no power supply from 9.45 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the following areas of the city owing to maintenance work to be carried out at the K.Sathanur Sub-Station: K.K.Nagar, Indian Bank Colony, SMESC Colony, Krishnamurthy Nagar, Sundar Nagar, Ayyappa Nagar, LIC Colony, Palani Nagar, Mullai Nagar, RVS Nagar, Vasantha Nagar, Wireless Road, Sembattu, Kuditheru, Bharathi Nagar, Kamarajar Nagar, J.K.Nagar, Santhosh Nagar, Panchapur, Thiruvalarchipatti, Anand Nagar, K.Sathanur, Olaiyur, Vadugapatti, Ramachandra Nagar, Edamalaipattipudur, RMS Colony, State Bank Colony, parts of Mannarpuram, Khaja Nagar and SIMCO Colony.
