NIT-T completes MCA admissions

Eighty nine candidates were admitted to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme at the National Institute of Technology-Tiruchi, the two-day admission process for which commenced here on Thursday.

The admission was based on the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) for the 92 seats in the institutions. Significantly, all the 19 top ranked students of NIMCET preferred NIT, Tiruchi, according to a release.

Among the top 50 rank holders, 47 preferred NIT, Tiruchi. The NIMCET top rank holder, Shubham Jain from Madhya Pradesh, was handed over the admission letter by Srinivasan Sundarrajan, Director, NIT, Tiruchi.
