A human trafficking case has been registered against him. He has been lodged in the camp as the case was pending, the police said. His health condition was stable, the police said. Meanwhile, five other Sri Lankan Tamils housed in the same camp who were on a fast since Friday demanding their release withdrew it on Sunday.
