T.Dharmaraj and G.Karthika, both representing Bharathidasan University, have bagged bronze medals in the all-India interuniversity athletics meet held at Mangalore recently.
Dharmaraj, a student of Jamal Mohamed College here, won bronze medal in pole-vault by scaling a height of 4.40 metres.
Karthika, a student of AVC College, Mayiladuthurai, leapt a distance of 5.93 metres to clinch bronze in long jump.
V.M. Muthukumar, Vice-Chancellor, Bharathidasan University, felicitated the youngsters in the presence of A. Palanisamy, associate professor and sports secretary, Bharathidasan University.
