Haj help desk at regional passport office in Tiruchi

Haj aspirants who have already applied for passports but have not yet received them even after completion of police verification may approach the Regional Passport Office in Tiruchi to find out the status of their application, R. Anand, Passport Officer, has said.

The Haj Committee has fixed November 17 as the last date for submission of applications along with passport details.

Only those who have machine readable valid passports with validity at least up to January 31, 2020 will be permitted to apply for Haj 2019, Mr. Anand said in a release.

A special Haj help desk will also function at the Regional Passport Office at Marakkadai till November 17 to answer queries related to passport applications, status enquiry and grievances of prospective pilgrims. The office will extend necessary assistance for expeditious issue of passports to Haj applicants by reserving appointment slots, he said.

Applicants should come to the office with a copy of the acknowledgement slip/online application form (ARN Sheet). For more details, dial 0431-2707203/2707404.
