Son of the soil, V. Anbuselvan of Nadiyam village near Peravurani, now serving as the Collector, Cuddalore district, contributed a sum of ₹25,000 for the ongoing restoration of Periyakulam lake in Peravurani carried out by a group of youngsters.

Handing over his contribution in person to the office-bearers of the `federation of tail-end area farmers associations’, which has taken up the rejuvenation of the around 500-acre lake by collecting funds from public and also pooling in their personal funds, Mr.Anbuselvan commended the efforts taken by the youth and wished them success in their endeavour.
