Counselling for admission to the Srirangam Government Polytechnic College at Sethurapatti will be held from June 22 to 24, according to a press release from S.Muruganathan, Principal.
The polytechnic offers five diploma programmes in civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics, electronics and communication engineering and computer engineering, each with an intake of 60 students.
About 750 applications have been received for 2015-16 and the counselling would be held as per the following schedule: June 22: 10 a.m. – for candidates with over 451 marks, 2 p.m. – for candidates with 401 to 450 marks; June 23: 10 a.m. – for candidates with 351 to 400 marks, 2 p.m. – for candidates with 301 to 350 marks and June 24 :10 a.m. – for candidates with 300 marks and below.
Those who have not received the call letters can participate as per the schedule.
