AIADMK candidate for Thanjavur has Rs. 2.80 crore loan

As per the affidavit filed by him, Mr. Parasuraman has total assets worth Rs.14.61 crore.

K.Parasuraman, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate for Thanjavur Lok Sabha constituency, filed his nomination with N.Subbaiyan, District Collector and Returning Officer, here on Tuesday. Accompanied by R.Vaithilingam, Housing and Urban Development Minister, and Durai Govindarajan, president, farmers’ wing of the party, Mr.Parasuraman filed his nomination at the collectorate after garlanding the statues of MGR, Anna, and Periyar in the town.

As per the affidavit filed by him, Mr. Parasuraman has total assets worth Rs.14.61 crore. Of this, movable properties were worth Rs.2.02 crore and immovable properties Rs.12.59 crore. He has loans to the tune of Rs.2.80 crore. He owns 72 grams of gold jewellery worth Rs.2.08 lakh and his wife has 280 grams of gold jewellery worth Rs.7.84 lakh. There were no cases against him.

NAGAPATTINAM: The AIADMK candidate for Mayiladuthurai constituency, R.K.Bharathi Mohan, filed his nominations at the collectorate here on Tuesday.
