Temple honours from Tirumala–Tirupathi Devasthanam were brought to Srirangam Sri Ranganathar temple on the occasion of ‘Kaisika Ekadasi’ on Saturday. Holy and conventional ‘vastram’ for Sri Ranganathar, Sri Thaayar, fruits and other holy articles were brought from Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam for this annual ritual.

A group of temple priests led by Sri Sundar Bhattar took the honour in a holy procession on the temple premises before offering it to the deities.

‘Kaisika Ekadasi’ falls about a month ahead of the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival.
