Sibal to visit schools

Union Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal will inspect the Activity Based Learning (ABL) and Active Learning Methodology (ALM) implemented under the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) at the Panchayat Union Primary School and the Government Higher Secondary School in Thuvakkudi on Tuesday morning.

He will arrive in Tiruchi after visiting a few government schools in and around Thanjavur town and taking part in the Edusat programme at the Block Resource Centre in Vallam.

On Monday, the SSA State Project Director, S. Venkatesan, and the former SPD, M.P. Vijayakumar, and Chief Educational Officer (in-charge) L. Augustine Peter Fathima visited the schools to make preparatory arrangements.
