The national flag will flutter round the clock at the Tiruchi international airport.

A huge flag mast measuring 100 feet height has been installed near the arrival area of the terminal building.

The national flag hoisted on the mast is 30 feet in length with its width being 20 feet.

The new flag mast was inaugurated by the Commissioner of Police M.N. Manjunatha by hoisting the flag in the presence of the Airport Director K. Gunasekaran, Airports Authority of India officials and Central Industrial Security Force personnel on Monday.

Mr. Gunasekaran said lighting arrangements had been made at the flag mast and at the ground for illumination.
