Workshop on alternative dispute resolution

: A three-day workshop on ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution,’ for lawyers, law students and general public, will be held at Justice V. R Kishna Iyer Memorial hall at the Kerala Law Academy Law College here from Saturday. The objective of the workshop is to create awareness of dispute resolution and subjects related to conflict management.

It is also aimed at providing training to the accredited mediators attached to the District Court.

Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, Judge, High Court of Kerala, will inaugurate the workshop and Dominic, Judge, will preside over the function. Professor and Head of the Department of Law, University of Kerala K. .C Sunny will deliver the keynote address.

The workshop is organised jointly by the Kerala Law Academy Law College, Kerala State Legal Services Authority and the Kerala State Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Principal of the college, P. Lekshmi, said in a press release issued here on Thursday.
