Traffic curbs for Run Kerala Run

Traffic curbs will be in place from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday in the city in connection with the Run Kerala Run’ campaign ahead of the National Games.

City Police Commissioner H. Venkatesh said parking of vehicles would not be allowed on the roadsides where the restrictions would be in place. The campaign would be primarily on the Mannathala – Nalanchira–Kesavadasapuram – Pattom – PMG, Peroorkada–Ambalamukku–

Kowdiar–Vellayambalam– Museum – Palayam, Chakka – Pettah–Pattoor–Asan Square, Manacaud–East Fort –Overbridge– Thampanoor – Bakery and Sreekaryam–Ulloor–Kesavadasapuram stretches. Vehicles will be restricted from entering and parking from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. along the Raj Bhavan – Vellayambalam – Vazhuthacaud – Bakery – Vanross – Jacobs – Cantonment Police Station Junction – Secretariat Main Gate – Gate 2 – SMS Institute – Press Club road. Parking will not be allowed from 8 a.m. near the Secretariat, the road circling the Central Stadium and the Jacobs – Bakery – Vazhuthacaud – Vellayambalam – Raj Bhavan stretch as well. Traffic could be stopped on M.G. Road, from Overbridge to Palayam, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
