Repairs on 26 roads to be taken up

Repair works on 26 roads in the city will be taken up at a cost of Rs.5 crore.

Minister for Health V.S. Sivakumar said the government had given nod for the repair of the roads under the Public Works Department and the city Corporation.

Repairs will be carried out on Aristo Junction-Music College, Puthen road-Manacaud, Chala-Tamil School, M.P. Appan Road-Vazhuthacaud-Kannettumukku, Althara-BSNL exchange road, Vazhuthacaud-Krishnavilasom road, Sreevarahom market-Varahanagar road, NSS-Sreekanteswaram road, West Fort-Kothalam, Vallakadavu-Juma Masjid-Sulaiman Street, Munnam Puthentheruvu-Anavaltheruvu, Vettucaud-St. Sebastian road, Valiyathura-St. Marys Library, Kuryathi-Pavithra Nagar, Chembakada-Nalumukku, Tutors Lane-Pulimood, Poonthura Church-Cheriyamuttom, Muttathara-Kallumoodu, Valiyathura Fathimamatha-Kochuthopu, Valiyathura-OLG, Beemapally-St. Xaviers Nagar, Veli-Pozhikkara-Appan Pillai, Balan Nagar-All Saints-Vettucaud Church, Valiyathura-Karuppai road, Kaithavilakom-
