Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb will declare the results of this year’s Higher Secondary Examinations at the PRD chamber here on Thursday. The results of the first year will be declared by mid-June, said a press release from the Higher Secondary Examination Board on Monday.
The evaluation work of the papers started on April 6 and much of the work was completed in 15 working days. Soon after the notification of the examinations was published, awareness classes were held on conducting the examinations and valuation of papers. These classes helped in finishing the work as per schedule.
The paper valuation guidelines were prepared by a group of senior teachers in each subject from all the districts. Valuation was held in 53 camps. Online tabulation from the camps reduced the number of results withheld due to technical reasons.
