Plea to roll back fee hike

The University of Kerala should roll back the hike in the fee for revaluation and scrutiny of the LLB answer papers, the Progressive Students Union (Marxist) has demanded. A pressnote issued here on Saturday said the fee had been hiked sharply from Rs. 150 per paper to Rs. 500 per paper. Each semester has four to five subjects. A student from a financially backward family would find it hard to pay so much money for getting his answer papers scrutinised or revaluated, the press note said.
