June 18, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

A retired employee of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), identified as Vijayan, 57, was found hanging at his house at Nellimoodu, near Neyyattinkara, on Tuesday.

Financial trouble

Relatives alleged that financial difficulties had prompted Vijayan, a retired driver, to resort to the extreme step, the police said.

However, the police are yet to confirm this and have registered a case of unnatural death. The body was handed over to relatives after autopsy. Vijayan is survived by wife and three daughters, one of whom got married recently, the police said.
