Kaviyoor case: CBI seeks more time

February 18, 2012 11:59 am | Updated 11:59 am IST - Thiruvananthapuram:

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday sought more time to reply to a set of petitions filed in its special court here seeking “further investigation” in the Kaviyoor sex-scandal case.

The case related to the suspicious death of five members of a family at Kaviyoor on September 28, 2004. The case was handed over to the CBI in the wake of allegations that the family had committed suicide after 15-year-old Anakha became victim of a sex-for-money racket . The CBI is expected to submit its contention in March.
