: Chairperson of the City Corporation’s Health Standing Committee S. Pushpalatha says though the ‘My City, Beautiful City’ waste management campaign has not been able to spread to all the 100 wards, it has been effective in the heart of the city where the waste problem has been acute.

“Many wards including Chenthitta, Perunthanni and Thycaud are progressing well on the way to become clean wards. The patrolling is strong in all the major wards to detect those who dump waste in public. The health workers and other employees are working round the clock on the waste management programme,” she said.
