Four persons who were found in an inebriated condition at the office of the Deputy Director of Education were arrested by the Fort police on Monday evening.
Those arrested were identified as Jayakumar (56), Sajith (36), Sajeev (46), and Reneesh (35).
They were the employees of the office, the police said. While Jayakumar was an administrative officer, the others were clerks.
The incident occurred around 7.30 p.m. after local residents saw the accused persons entering the office with liquor bottles.
Upon being alerted, the police arrived at the scene and apprehended the four persons.
