The Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and the Revathy Kalamandir Film Academy will be organising a master class by Polish film-maker Krzysztof Zanussi from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 25 at the Priyadarsini Planetarium seminar hall here. Those who are interested in participating in the master class should register their names by sending a mail to info@rkfa.in or sjindia@gmail.com.
Film-maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan will distribute the diploma certificates to those who have passed the acting course from the film academy on the occasion. Mr. Zanussi will also conduct workshops for the students of the film school from October 21 to 26.
The Press Club and the film school will jointly organise a Polish film festival from October 21 to 23 at the Lenin Balavadi.
The screenings will be at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
On Wednesday, Structure of Crystals by Zanussi and Ashes and Diamonds by Andrzej Wajda will be screened. On Thursday, Illumination by Zanussi and Three Colours- Blue by Krzysztof Kieslowski will be screened. On Friday, Life as a fatal sexually transmitted disease by Zanussi and The Saragossa Manuscript by Wojciech Jerzy Has will be screened.
