Health Minister V.S. Sivakumar has said that the Vizhinjam International Multi-purpose Seaport projectwhich was expected to come as a shot in the arm for the State’s social and economic spheres, would change the capital city from being one known for its bureaucratic circles to one popular for its industry. The decision showed the determination of the Oommen Chandy government. The project was on its way to becoming a reality after clearing several hurdles, he said, requesting cooperation from all quarters for the time-bound implementation of the project.
