A five-day children’s film appreciation camp organised by the Kerala State Chalachithra Academy drew to a close here on Wednesday with the participants speaking of a new understanding of cinema.

The children, most of them in their teens, were almost unanimous that they now have a better idea about the diverse possibilities that cinema opened up, both in terms of production values and aesthetic experience.
