Ananthapuri FM looking for anchors

All India Radio’s Ananthapuri FM is looking to hire anchors on a temporary basis. Permanent residents of Thiruvananthapuram, between the ages of 20 and 50, are invited to apply.

While the basic criteria for eligibility is a recognised degree in any subject, aptitude for broadcasting and other cultural and literary interests are desirable. Applicants should be able to communicate accurately and effectively in Malayalam. They should also have fluent diction and a voice fit for broadcasting. The selection will be conducted over three rounds. The first round will include a written test. Those who pass it will undergo a voice test, and a personal interview will be held in the final round. Those interested in anchoring western music programmes may apply separately for the same. The application fee of ₹300 could be paid online to the Station Director, Vanijya Prakshepana Kendram, Thiruvananthapuram (Account details- A/C no: 31124249195, IFSC: SBIN0000941, State Bank of India, Thiruvananthapuram Main Branch).

Applications are to be submitted before March 31 with biodata, certificates of qualifications, address proof, and the fee payment receipt. They should be addressed to ‘The Station Director, Vanijya Prakshepana Kendram, All India Radio, Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram - 14.’
