Few teams, no delays

Appeals are one reason why some events are delayed at the District School Arts Festival. But there were no such issues for Koodiyattom. The upper primary event was cancelled after the two participating teams failed to turn up despite three calls. In the high school and higher secondary segments, there was only one participating team each. Besides the expenses, only schools where Sanskrit was the first language could train their students in this art form without much trouble, a teacher accompanying a team said.
