FOSS meet for students, young professionals

The FOSS Young Professional Meet (FYPM) for young software developers and students will be held on January 13 and 14 at Mascot Hotel here.

The lead theme for the meet is ‘Free and Open Source Software for Sustainable Development,’ highlighting innovation using open source methodologies for sustainability.

The event will feature invited presentations on a variety of emerging areas related to theme. On the second day there will be a project contest on the topic. The Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) community will interact with students at the meet.

The meet is being organised by ICFOSS, an autonomous institution of the Kerala government, mandated with the propagation, promotion and development of free and open source software, and related domains.
