Business incubation centre opened

A business incubation centre set up at Government College, Karyavattom, with the support of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC) was inaugurated by Minister for Industries A.C. Moideen on Wednesday. Spread over 900 sq ft, the centre will provide students the facilities needed to transform their innovations into business enterprises, and will focus on entrepreneurship education and training, according to a press note.

It is the fifth such centre set up by the KSIDC. Business incubation centres at the TKM Institute of Management, Kollam; Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram; Academy of Magical Science, Thiruvananthapuram; and the Rajagiri School of Social Sciences, Kochi, have started operations.
