Three held on charge of robbing financier

The Bajpe police have arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in robbing a financier of ₹2.05 lakh.

As many as four persons waylaid Senthil Kumar on July 14 in Mogaru village and threatened to kill him.

The accused broke open a box on Senthil’s motorcycle and escaped with the ₹2.05 cash kept in it.

A team, led by Bajpe Police Inspector S. Parashivamurthy, on Wednesday arrested the three persons from a hideout.

The police have given the names of the accused as Abdul Aziz, 19, of Muloor village, Mohammed Mustaf, 23, of Ganjimath, and Aslesh A. Kotian, 20, of Ulaibettu.
