SKSSF convention

The Samasta Kerala Sunni Students Federation’s Dakshina Kannada unit will be holding district-level convention at the Nehru Maidan on January 11. The district-level convention was to prepare for the silver jubilee function of the federation to be held in Thrissur in Kerala on February 19, according to a press release.

Admission process

The process of admission to 25 per cent seats for children from economically weaker sections to schools will start from January 18. Under this scheme, the children will be getting free education. Applications for the seats can be filed physically or online by February 19. Parents should bring photographs of their child, income certificate, proof of residence and other original documents to the school, which is their first choice and get it checked before department officials. Janata Darshan postponed

The Janata Darshan scheduled to be held at Gurupura on January 21 has been postponed, according to an official press release.

KSOU convocation

Applications have been invited for the convocation of the Karnataka State Open University in Mysuru to be held this year for those who have passed in diploma, graduate and postgraduate examinations held in June 2014.
