Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Dharmasthala on Sunday. After having darshan at the Sri Manjunatha temple in the forenoon, he will attend a function organised by Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) at Ratnavarma Heggade Stadium in Ujire at noon.

The Prime Minister will symbolically hand over Rupay cards to some members of self-help groups (SHGs) formed by the SKDRDP at the function.

Meanwhile, the State Bank of India and SKDRDP will sign an agreement to enable cashless transaction for members having Rupay cards.

SBI chairman Rajaneesh Kumar and bank managing director Parveen Kumar Gupta will attend the function, a release said.
