With a fifth in the medical/dental stream in her kitty, Lakshmi Sriram from Karwar, Uttara Kannada, is aiming for a seat in the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
“My first choice is AIIMS. I am waiting for the results of the entrance exam on June 18,” said Ms. Sriram, a student of the Atomic Energy Central School, Karwar. She is also considering the Madras Medical College.
She is the daughter of K. Sriram, the Senior Maintenance Engineer at the Kaiga Atomic Power Station, and homemaker Geeta Sriram. She has studied in Central School since class one. She scored 97.8 per cent marks in class 12 exams. Ms. Sriram ranked fifth in B.Sc (Agri) and B.V.Sc streams, and seventh in Homeopathy and B.Pharm streams in the Common Entrance Test held last month.
