Monsoon Challenge to be flagged off today

The Mahindra Adventure Monsoon Challenge 2017 involving 30 vehicles covering a distance of about 650 km between Mangaluru and Panaji criss-crossing the Western Ghats will be flagged off here on Friday.

Said to be one of the toughest rallying tracks in the country, Monsoon Challenge would witness participation by seasoned rallying men and women, said a release here.

The rally would be marked by narrow and not so good roads, heavy to very heavy rain, low visibility etc., which were found by ace rallyists Ashwin Naik and Musa Sherif during their recce of the track.
