Glancia Pinto emerged the winner in the under-19 girls singles of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district-level Golden Shuttle Cup 2015 that started here on Friday. Neha H. was the runner-up.
In the under-19 girls doubles, Spandana Bekal and Shreya Shetty were the winners while Neha H. and Glancia Pinto were the runners-up.
Ayush R. Shetty emerged the winner in under-13 boys singles category while Jivan was the runner-up. In under-13 boys doubles Ayush R. Shetty and Adithya were the winners and Shashank and Pradhyumna were the runners-up.
The first day of three-day tournament saw matches under different age categories which reached the final stage. They would continue tomorrow. State-level competitions are scheduled from Saturday
The tournament is being held at U.S. Mallya Indoor Stadium, Lalbagh.
