President of the district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party Udaykumar Shetty said on Saturday that the 2,323 candidates who contested the gram panchayat elections with its support would be felicitated here on June 22.
BJP members in Udupi City Municipal Council, town municipal councils of Kundapur and Karkala, and the Saligrama town panchayat will be felicitated at the party's district office the same afternoon.
This will be followed by a meeting of senior BJP workers.
