‘Vasagar Tiruvizha’ in Madurai today

In view of The Hindu Tamil stepping into its third year, ‘Vasagar Thiruvizha,’ a festival for book lovers and readers will be held at The Madura College here on Sunday. The festival, which begins at 9.30 a.m., will have enriching talks and discussions. Actor Rohini, orator K. Gnanasambandan, former MLA N. Nanmaran and Kannan Sundaram, Editor of Kaalachuvadu Publications will participate in the festival.

Prior to the event, many readers had recorded a special message for the newspaper as a part of ‘The Hindu Ungal Kural.’ Select readers can expect a response for their messages at the event. Last year, similar festivals were held at important cities across the State which received a overwhelming response from the readers.
