Three projects announced for Dindigul district

In the PWD’s demand grants session in the Assembly, Dindigul district has got three projects.

Vaiyapuri tank and Sirunayakkan tank around Dhandayudhapaniswami temple in Palani will be repaired and two water recycling plants installed at a cost of ₹51 crore and ₹85 lakh respectively.

A percolation pond in Viralipatti village in Vedasandur taluk will be reconstructed at a cost of ₹3 crore.

A project work to bring flood water from Varathamanadhi dam in Ayakudi village, Palani taluk, to Karunkulam tank in Chatrapatti, Oddanchatram taluk, will be taken up at a cost of ₹60 crore.
