Three accused have been convicted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivakasi, for breach of bonds executed by them promising good behaviour under Section 110 of Code of Criminal Procedure.

Virudhunagar Superintendent of Police, M. Rajarajan, said that the three habitual offenders, J. Karthik, 27, T. Surya, 23 , both from Tiruthangal and Balamurugan, 25, of Sivakasi had executed bonds promising good behaviour for a period of one year.

However, they were arrested and remanded in connection with a murder case reported in Tiruthangal. Following the breach of promise under the provisions of CrPC, the RDO passed an order on June 10 directing the Superintendent of Central Prison, Madurai, where they have been lodged, to detain the first two accused till March 12, 2020 and Balamurugan till March 25, 2020, the remaining of the bond period.
