Third devotee dies on Sathuragiri hills

VIRUDHUNAGAR

One more devotee who climbed up Sathuragiri hills in connection with Aadi Amavasai festival died on Sunday.

The police identified the devotee as C. Kumar, 48, of Ceylon Colony in Mela Vaidhyanathapuram in Madurai. He collapsed near Petchiamman Temple on the hill around noon and died. The body was brought down in a doli and handed over to the family members.

Two devotees had died in the last three days on the hill.
