The Election Commission of India has instructed all the district administrations/district election officers to conduct a special camp to include qualified voters in the electoral rolls.

According to a release, public can utilise the opportunity by visiting the polling stations in their respective localities on February 23 and 24 (Saturday and Sunday) from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Persons with 18 years and above with 1.1.2019 as the qualifying date shall submit a proof of their age, residence among other details in the prescribed form 6 and file before the jurisdiction officers concerned. After due verification by the field staff, the names would be incorporated suitably.

Only last week, Collectors had released the final electoral rolls. However, following representations, the ECI had issued a circular to this effect, officials said.

The public can also file the application online for inclusion through www.nvsp.in an official release said.
