Minister for Khadi and Village Industries Board G. Baskaran has inaugurated mobile medical ambulance service for animals in the district.

Flagging off the ambulance at a function presided over by Collector J. Jayakanthan here on Wednesday, the Minister said public could avail the ambulance service by calling toll free number – 1962.

The service would go a long way in helping farmers and beneficiaries of free milch animals and goats in protecting their cattle heads and livestock, he said.
