Collector Shilpa Prabhakar Satish will inaugurate a job fair, organised by the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Sadakathullah Appa College, ‘We are your voice’ and the District Employment Office, for differently abled persons on July 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, Kasim Basith, founder of ‘We are your voice,’ said more than 100 business organisations including information technology companies, service sectors, textile industries would participate in the fair. Over a thousand persons have so far registered.
Degree, diploma or Industrial Training Institute certificate holders and those who have passed fifth standard can participate in the fair.
Aspiring entrepreneurs will be supported to start business through loans from nationalised banks, District Industries Centre and Tamil Nadu Adi Dravida Housing and Development Corporation. The participants should produce photocopies of their certificates, ration card and Aadhar card. The registration will start on SAC premises at 9 a.m. and there is no need to pay fee.
