Members of Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham have extended medical aid to around one lakh devotees visiting the Sabarimala shrine.
According to a press release from Sangham coordinator P. Mani, on account of the ‘maharajothi’ festival, a large number of devotees turned up from many places. The Sangham members, in association with Apollo Speciality Hospitals, attended to those having complaints of uneasiness and giddiness. Stretchers were provided to the needy.
Due to change in weather conditions, many had ailments such as cold and fever. After screening, medicines were given to them. The Sangham served annadhanam.’ It would continue till the end of the season.
