CBSE students a worried lot

May 25, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:42 am IST - MADURAI:

Most of the students who did Plus Two under Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) stream are a worried lot as they are still waiting for their examination results.

“While the State Board results are advanced every year, there is still no announcement about the results for these students,” says a college professor.

Many colleges started the admission process a day after the Plus Two results were announced. “We have been told that the results are likely to be announced this week. Demand for B.Com. and B.Sc. Maths is so fierce that it is worrying us,” a student says.

Principals, however, allay their fears.

“We have kept aside seats for CBSE students. We have only released the first list for admissions,” says Davamani Christober, Principal, The American College.
