1,200 students attend ‘Freshmen Orientation programme’

City’s prestigious educational institution American College welcomed the first year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses with special orientation programmes on June 28 and 29.

Privilege

M. Davamani Christober, Principal and Secretary, welcomed the students and emphasised on the privilege of studying in American College.

Over 1,200 first year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses attended the ‘Freshmen Orientation programme 2012-13’ in which parents of the students also took part.

According to a press release from college, the Principal had thanked various stakeholders for their patronage to American College, especially the parents.

The programme was coordinated by the Student Services Committee of the college.
